Zell Miller will almost
certainly be remembered as one of the greatest governors in
the history of Georgia, and perhaps in the history of America.
This volume includes dozens of speeches and excerpts that give
us a glimpse into the world of this great statesman.
Governor Miller's programs,
particularly in education, have become the foundation for
programs throughout the country, and his remarks have inspired
politicians of all backgrounds to strive for excellence.
President Clinton has praised Governor Miller's words time and
time again, and this volume contains the greatest of these
speeches, from his HOPE Scholarship program which gave
hundreds of thousands of Georgia students the opportunity to
attend college, to his unforgettable Keynote speech at the
