Harville Hendrix, Ph.D.,
in partnership with his wife, Helen LaKelly Hunt, M.A., M.L.A., originated Imago
Relationship Therapy, a unique healing process for couples, prospective couples,
and parents.
Harville is a pastoral counselor
with more than thirty years' experience as an educator and therapist. He works
with couples in private practice, conducts couples workshops, teaches marital
therapists, and gives public lectures.
Helen is a psychologist and
women's activist. She was elected to the Women's Hall of Fame for her work in
empowering women. They have six children and live in New Jersey and New Mexico.
