Barbara Corcoran encapsulates extraordinary wisdom and guidance
in a mere 250 pages. As a writer and businesswoman, Ms. Corcoran has
the ability to keep life, with all its complications, simple and
lighthearted. It is through her writing that she fosters
encouragement of those that want the same kind of career successes
she has experienced.
She tells how she was taught to remain true to herself and by so
doing she has helped others do the same. Her rise to the challenge
of going it alone when that was the only path and charging forward
toward her goals in good times and not so good times are testaments
to and examples of the fortitude inside us all.
At the back of the book is a step-by-step "how-to" section for
setting your own business in motion-a hands-on guide that is an
excellent reference. "Use What You've Got" is more than a
comfortable and inspirational read. It's a bible. Seldom is such a
highly successful individual able to tell in such a light, easy and
engaging style what they did to get where they got then hand out the
tools to get us there too.
Barbara Corcoran's The Corcoran Group has become an empire
because of these basic life lessons and applications. Barbara and
her mother are inspirations and anyone reading this wonderful
little, big book will surely be inspired
